Energy Auditing

Lilker EMO Energy Solutions provides a variety of energy audit and building assessment services to assist building owners and developers in reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions related to site and source energy consumption. We offer Preliminary (ASHRAE level I) or comprehensive (ASHRAE level II or III) levels of energy audits tailored specifically to the client's needs, building type & size, and programt.   

Energy Modeling

We use energy modeling for new construction, existing buildings, renovations, and historic rehabilitation projects, including "whole building" energy simulation, baseline DOE-2 energy model of the current design of the facility, parametric runs for Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs), and final design models presenting packaged ECMs, energy savings, overall Energy Usage Intensity (EUI-kBtu/sf) reduction, and potential LEED® credits awarded. 

Commissioning

Our commissioning approach focuses on meeting the sustainable design requirements of LEED® Energy & Atmosphere (EA). Services include: review of owner's requirements and basis of design; development of strategies for systems being commissioned; development of bid documents; establishment of pre-functional checklists and functional performance test procedures; and preparation of a commissioning report.  

Leed® Consultation

For new and existing building types, our energy experts can assist with every stage of the LEED certification process—feasibility analyses, preparation of credit documentation, credit calculations, review and generation of submittals, and assistance with online administration.
